About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Building Certifier to join their team. This is an office-based role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring projects run smoothly, providing high-quality certification services, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You’ll work across residential/domestic approvals, with the opportunity to broaden into commercial projects.

Duties

• Provide building certification services in line with QLD regulations
• Review and process residential/domestic building approvals
• Liaise with clients, councils, and consultants to ensure compliance
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all certification documents
• Manage and support the approval process from application through to completion
• Assist with commercial approvals where required
• Deliver high-quality service and advice to clients and stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Licensed in QLD as a Building Certifier (preferred)
• 1–3 years’ experience in residential/domestic approvals
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and codes
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Commercial experience advantageous
• Applicants close to accreditation will also be considered
