Victorian government's top statutory authority is looking for a Developer to be part of their Product Delivery Team for a long term contract.

Your new role

As a seasoned Developer with strong technical and soft skills, your key responsibilities include:

• Designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software and integration services.
  
• Leading configuration design and deployment, ensuring alignment with security and quality standards.
  
• Specifying and evaluating software architecture and design, managing risks and recommending improvements.
  
• Managing application support processes and resolving issues using monitoring tools.
  
• Overseeing system integration, testing environments, and build processes, ensuring smooth deployment.
  
• Defining and executing manual and automated testing strategies, improving coverage and reporting on outcomes.
  

What you'll need to succeed

You'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You'll also need:

• Hands-on technical project work experience
  
• Proven track record in agile squads delivering strategic tech solutions
  
• Strong development lifecycle experience, including Unit testing, batch processing, large data handling and CI/CD, source control, and deployment
  
• Expertise in at least one tech stream, especially:
  
• Salesforce: Service, Community & Marketing Clouds
  
• Apex, Lightning, LWC, and Communities
  
• Familiarity with tools like GIT, CI/CD, DX, Confluence, and JIRA
