Senior Full Stack Developer – DevOps & Cloud Engineering

• Contract until EOFY 26 w/ extensions

Primary Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Full Stack Developer will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications while bridging application engineering with infrastructure automation. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Golang, and preferably PHP, alongside cloud engineering, CI/CD, and containerisation skills to enable faster and more reliable delivery of digital solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Golang, and PHP
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Implement secure, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
• Deploy applications on AWS or GCP (EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Run, GKE)
• Containerise applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools
• Develop and integrate unit, integration, and performance tests into deployment workflows
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with QA, cloud engineers, and security teams to ensure end-to-end delivery excellence
• Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and DevOps strategy sessions

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years’ full stack development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or DevOps-integrated role
• Expertise in Java, Golang, and preferably PHP
• Proven experience with cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP services
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Exposure to serverless architectures and microservices
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
• Previous consulting or client delivery experience
