Are you an experienced financial services professional seeking balance in your working week? This boutique, high-net-worth financial planning firm is looking for a skilled Middle Office Associate to join their close-knit team.
With a mature client base of ~150 households and streamlined processes, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside two highly regarded advisers, supporting them in delivering exceptional service to sophisticated clients.

The Role
This is a hands-on middle office position where you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth client servicing and adviser support. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing Annual Client Review Reports using in-house Excel and Word tools (core function of the role)
Managing client trades, reconciliations and cashflow requirements
Assisting with implementation of advice strategies (rollovers, contributions, pensions, new applications)
Liaising with platforms, accountants and tax advisers to resolve queries
Supporting advisers with reconciliations, reporting and ad hoc requests
General office administration and client service support
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
3–4 years’ experience in financial planning, superannuation, or banking administration
Strong working knowledge of platforms, reporting and compliance (KYC/AML)
Advanced Excel and Word skills – confident working with data, linked files, and merged documents
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage bulk information accurately
A proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously once established
