About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your financial planning career with an independent, boutique financial advisory firm located in the leafy Eastern suburbs. As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will have the chance to complete your Professional Year (PY) training program and work towards obtaining your Financial Adviser accreditation.
What you'll be doing
Support the financial planning team in all aspects of client engagement, including meeting preparation, research, and document preparation
Assist with the implementation of financial strategies and recommendations for clients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and administration
Undertake research and analysis to support the development of financial plans
Participate in the Professional Year training program to develop your financial planning expertise
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A keen interest in financial planning and the desire to pursue a career in the industry
Eligibility to complete the Professional Year training program
