At Bonza Business and Franchise Sales, one of Australia’s leading business brokerages, we’re searching for a Business Sales Consultant who can do more than just sell. We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about people, can listen with empathy, and build trust with small business owners during one of the biggest decisions of their lives: selling their business. You’ll be the first voice they hear. Your job is to guide them through the process, help them feel confident in their next steps, and show them why Bonza is the best partner for the journey.
No business sales experience is needed, full training provided. However, you must have at least 1 year of proven sales/account management/BDM experience and the soft skills to connect with people on a human level.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Qualifying and nurturing warm inbound leads. No cold calling.
Conducting discovery calls with small business owners to understand their motivations and timelines.
Providing clear, confident advice on our process and how we help.
Acting as the first point of contact, building trust and rapport from the start.
Collaborating with our internal team to ensure a seamless experience for every client.
Making a difference in the lives of business owners while growing your own career.

Who We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience in account management, business development, or consultative sales.
Genuine empathy and a listening-first approach to conversations.
Confidence to build trust quickly and communicate clearly with business owners.
Emotional intelligence, patience, and the ability to ask the right questions.
Understanding of financials and how to read a profit and loss is desirable but not required.
A competitive spirit and motivation to exceed targets.
Strong computer skills and a professional phone manner.
Team-oriented with a respectful, positive attitude.
