About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Coordinator & Supervisor to lead our sandblasting and painting operations for structural steel components.

This is a hands-on role, responsible for both supervising workshop activities and coordinating daily operations ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification and in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of blasters and painters, maintain smooth day-to day workshop operations, and drive high standards of quality and safety. This position is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in blasting and coatings who is ready to take on a leadership role.

Location: On-site (Kalgoorlie)

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise all blasting and painting activities to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Lead and mentor a team of blasters and painters, fostering a productive and safety-focused work environment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures.

Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure readiness of tools and materials.

Conduct quality inspections and manage rework processes as needed.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflow and resolve operational issues.

Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, reports, and stock levels.
