As we continue to grow, we're inviting passionate wine professionals to be part of the journey! This role is based in your local city, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane and works closely with our National Sales and Marketing team based in Sydney.
About the Role
We’re on the hunt for three dynamic Sales Ambassadors in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Part-time: 12 hours per week / 52 hours per month
Standard hours: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tasting/event hours: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
(Some flexibility required)
As a Sales Ambassador, you’ll represent one of Australia's fastest-growing wine brands. Your mission? To build strong relationships with key liquor retail stores, deliver engaging sales and merchandising visits, and drive brand awareness through tastings and in-store activations.
You’ll play a key role in educating and inspiring store teams about our wines, ensuring standout displays, and supporting the success of our promotions — all while sharing the story of a truly iconic Barossa winery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Calls – Visit liquor retail stores to educate staff on key selling points and promotional timelines for select wines, while providing product samples.
Merchandising: Support merchandising efforts during peak selling periods by creating and setting up promotional displays that showcase key products and campaigns.
Promotion compliance: Ensure in-store promotions and pricing are correctly implemented and align with guidelines.
Communication – provide excellent and reliable communication with stores regarding upcoming promotions to ensure proper stock levels and strong execution.
Optimize Sales Opportunities: Maximize product placement and displays to drive sales, enhance product visibility, and drive revenue.
In-Store Tastings– Organize and conduct in store tastings at key locations as required.
Sales Reporting: Provide weekly reports detailing all activity, including sales trends, merchandising execution, and promotional performance. Share insights on what other brands are doing well in-store – be our eyes on the ground.
Performance Measurement: You will be measured on the growth of product turn rate in your assigned stores, ensuring efficient stock movement and increasing overall sales performance.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
A current RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle (kilometres reimbursed)
Proven ability to work independently and manage your schedule
Previous experience in sales calls and merchandising (liquor industry experience a bonus)
Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude, great organisation, and strong attention to detail
A genuine interest in wine and the industry
