Position description:

Be in charge of the kitchen

execute all cooking responsibilities in kitchen

examining foodstuffs to ensure quality

regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

preparing Indian cuisine and cooking food

work on tandoor

seasoning food during cooking

portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes

storing food in temperature-controlled facilities

preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

estimate and calculate the ingredients required for cooking of the dishes and sweets on the menu of the restaurant.
