We’re seeking passionate Remote Area Nurses to join a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Katherine region of the Northern Territory.

What’s on Offer
Salary up to $139,007.23/year (depending on experience)
Option for a 6-month fixed-term contract or a permanent full time contract
6 weeks annual leave + 18% leave loading
15 personal leave days per year

Salary packaging to maximise take-home pay
Monday–Friday role (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) with rotating on-call roster

The Role
You’ll be based in one of several remote Aboriginal communities within the Katherine region, working within a close-knit and supportive health team. Each community offers a unique experience and the opportunity to build meaningful connections.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide high-quality primary healthcare, including acute care, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic and culturally responsive care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory standards.
Support community health initiatives, education, and engagement activities.
Participate in the on-call emergency response roster as required.

Requirements:
Current AHPRA Registration
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a remote community, emergency, or Indigenous health setting (MEC/REC/ALS certification preferred).
Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to remote communities
Manual driver’s licence
