Angurugu Health Centre
Two ongoing/fixed vacancies are available for up to 2 years, working in Angurugu and Umbakumba. Selection will be made at the N5 or N6 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.

An amazing opportunity is available within the East Arnhem Population Primary Health Care team to work as part of a multidisciplinary health team and engage closely with other service providers.

As the Nurse Practitioner Candidate / Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex chronic condition programs the Groote Eylandt Archipelago.

You will work closely with the Remote Area Clinic staff including Remote Area Nurses, Clinic Managers and General Practitioners to provide a proactive and preventative approach to service delivery in this high priority program.

Housing for this position is based in Alyangula, Groote Eylandt (Australia’s third largest Island) which has a population of approx. 1,500. It has all essential services including a school, a primary health care clinic, shopping complex, childcare centres, recreation club, nine-hole golf course and sporting facilities.

Please note: Housing may be in Nhulunbuy and frequent travel to Groote Eylandt may be required.
