Supervise Camp & Site Electrical Maintenance for a Growing Contractor

Our client is a respected WA-based electrical contractor providing high-quality maintenance and infrastructure services across the mining, construction, and industrial sectors. As part of a growing portfolio of remote site work, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical operations at a remote FIFO mine camp.

This is a site-based leadership role suited for a trade-qualified Electrician with a strong maintenance background and supervisory experience under Section 26 of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for supervising a small team of electricians and trade assistants, ensuring compliance with all electrical, safety, and operational standards across camp and non-process infrastructure (NPI).

Key responsibilities:

• Camp facilities (accommodation, crib rooms, admin offices, mess, laundries)
• Lighting, GPOs, switchboards, hot water systems, emergency systems

• Manage and lead day-to-day electrical maintenance of:
• Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and conduct toolbox meetings
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety legislation, mine site requirements, and procedures
• Review and sign off on completed work, JSAs, permits, and maintenance logs
• Liaise with site stakeholders and report directly to management
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and proactively address site issues
• Support electrical installations, inspections, and minor upgrades as required

What You’ll Need:

• WA Electrical Licence – Essential
• Section 26 Appointment (Supervisory level) – Required
• Section 44 – Highly desirable
• Experience leading small site-based electrical teams – preferably in mining or remote camp settings
• Current CPR/LVR, White Card, and C Class manual driver’s licence
• Proven background in fault finding, general maintenance, and minor installation work
• Strong safety leadership and administrative capability
• Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and DAS
• Perth-based and available for immediate FIFO mobilisation
