Pilbara Resource Group (PRG) is a vertically integrated mining and civil contractor delivering high-output iron ore projects across WA. With a growing fleet of heavy mobile equipment operating at their Wiluna site, PRG is now seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee workshop operations and ensure fleet readiness across production-critical plant.

About the Role:

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will take the lead in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Wiluna mobile plant workshop, supporting the service and repair of a large mining fleet.

Fleet includes:

CAT 777 Dump Trucks

CAT D10 and D11 Dozers

CAT 980M Loaders

Komatsu PC1250 Excavators

Light vehicles and support equipment

Key responsibilities:

Oversee daily maintenance scheduling, priorities, and allocation of work

Supervise and support fitters, auto sparkies, boilermakers, and trade assistants

Review job cards, defect reports, and service records to ensure accuracy and compliance

Assist with parts ordering, tooling readiness, and inventory checks

Liaise with operations and production teams to plan for machine availability

Drive safety standards in the workshop and ensure adherence to PRG procedures

Conduct pre-start toolbox meetings and support development of trades personnel

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitting – Essential

5+ years’ experience in a mine site mobile plant environment, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role

Strong mechanical knowledge of large-scale mining equipment

Confident leader who can build team culture and maintain accountability

Sound understanding of maintenance systems, job tracking, and safety protocols

Current C Class driver's licence

Able to pass full pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening

Available for FIFO mobilisation from Perth
