We are a design & construct contractor specialising in Industrial & logistics facilities. We have a small, dedicated preconstruction team with an integrated approach to design & estimating delivering value to our clients

The role

We are looking for a new team member to join our design team. Below is a summary of the role

Preparation of Early design models for value engineering & estimation purposes

Preparation of site plans renders & presentation documents for our proposals

Preparation of Detailed architectural documentation & standard design drawings

Co-ordination with the pre-construction team in the preparation of tender documents

Coordination & checking of external consultants’ drawings.

Supporting the construction team in the resolution of design problems on site.

Management of approvals.

The role would include a lot of collaboration with the team internally and some collaboration with external consultants, so practical communication skills would be essential.

What we are looking for

At least 10 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting

Architectural / Building Design background

As we deal with consultants using a variety of software, proficiency in a wide array of software is essential. As a minimum proficiency is required in the following, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp & ArchiCAD.

Good understanding of Commercial Building Projects

Team player with an eagerness to learn.

Self-motivated & the ability to work autonomously without a bureaucratic management structure

Understanding of the NCC & the ability to apply the requirements

Ability to work under pressure of tight timelines

On Offer

Competitive remuneration will be dependent on the applicant's experience. It is anticipated to be between $80,000 - $90,000 per annum + super.
