We’re currently looking for an experienced Local Transport Allocator to join our Eastern Creek team. If you thrive under pressure, love fast-paced logistics, and want to be part of a team that works hard and works smart, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Local Transport Allocator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely transport operations. You’ll need to:
Previous experience in a similar transport allocator or dispatcher role.
Sound knowledge of Sydney’s metro area and local delivery logistics.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to manage drivers and prioritise tasks effectively.
A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
A professional, level-headed approach, even when things get busy.
Tech-savvy with experience using transport management systems like Freight 2020 or similar (preferred but not essential).
Knowledge of NHVR compliance and fatigue management (advantageous).
Previous experience in container transport allocation and wharf operations is preferred but not essential.
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM start role.
