Health & Safety Coordinator / Advisor – $300M Project | Inner West

About the Project
We are working with one of Australia’s most respected integrated builders and developers on a landmark $300M mixed-use development in the Inner West. This is a career-defining opportunity to join the project team from an early stage and play a key role in embedding and driving best practice safety on site.
The Role
As Health & Safety Coordinator / Advisor, you will work closely with the project leadership team to ensure a safe, compliant and positive work environment across all site activities. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day safety operations, with support and mentorship from senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor health and safety systems, policies and procedures on site
Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, inspections and risk assessments
Support subcontractors and site teams in meeting compliance requirements
Maintain safety records, documentation and reporting
Drive a proactive safety-first culture across the project team
About You
Previous experience in a WHS Coordinator or Advisor role within construction
Formal qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma)
Strong communication and influencing skills with both site and management teams
A collaborative approach and genuine passion for safety
