Role Focus

As the HSE Advisor, your focus will be to advise and coach the Project Manager and Site Manager, continually developing the safety and training culture on the project.

Your principal responsibilities will include:

Monitor compliance of the SMS and ensure Project Safety Plans are maintained;

Manage subcontractor relationships

Lead and champion involvement from the project team to build on a proactive safety culture;

Provide leadership and promote project safety initiatives and ensure these initiatives have adequate support and resources;

Oversee weekly and monthly reporting requirements;

Your Experience

Your previous experience in a safety capacity on a high rise construction project, either commercial or apartments will be essential, as will your communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to develop strong relationships with project leadership across multiple projects. Your construction industry experience will be supported by formal safety related qualifications, and you will hold a solid working knowledge of WHSE related legislation.
