UMS are a well-established provider of school and professional uniforms, with multiple retail locations across Brisbane and the Southern Suburbs. As we head into a busy season,

(November - February) we’re looking for motivated and reliable Casual Retail Assistants to join our friendly teams across several uniform stores.

The Role

As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be the face of our stores – helping customers find the right fit, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting customers with product selection and fittings

Operating the register and processing sales

Restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness

Ensuring displays are neat and well-organised

Packing online orders

Supporting store teams during peak periods (e.g., back-to-school)

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking people who are:

Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused

Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail

Flexible with availability (weekdays, some Saturdays)

Able to work across multiple store locations if needed

Experienced in retail or customer service (preferred, but not essential)

Blue Card and Police Check will be required, which is funded from UMS for selected candidates.
