The Alcohol and Other Drug Consumer & Community Coalition (AODCCC) is the Peak Body for alcohol and other drug, consumer, family, and community Systemic Advocacy in Western Australia. Our aim is to empower the voices of individuals, their families and supports, to promote the interests, education, and welfare of those affected by alcohol and other drug use.

About the Administration Assistant role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to support our team in our day-to-day office-based tasks. The successful applicant will possess good communication skills, proven Administration experience and ability to work as part of a team in accordance with our values.
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting Support: Accurately take minutes during team meetings, committees, or training sessions, ensuring clear and concise documentation, scheduling and calendar management.
Event Logistics: Set up training rooms and meeting spaces, including arranging equipment, materials, and catering as required.
Reception Duties: Answer and direct phone calls, direct inquiries from members, or stakeholders, and provide professional customer service.
Records Management: Maintain organised filing systems (physical and digital) to ensure accurate and accessible records.
Financial Tasks: Manage petty cash, process receipts, and assist with basic financial record-keeping (e.g., cash summaries).
General Support: Assist with data entry, word processing, and other clerical tasks to support program delivery, office operations, and the running of general errands.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Basic administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) Teams and data entry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling inquiries and working in a team.
- Ability to follow established procedures with attention to detail.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or a Certificate II/III in Business Administration (or equivalent).
- Desirable:
- Experience in the community services or not-for-profit sector.
Key Requirements
Commitment to work in accordance with the values of the AODCCC.
Ability to work Mon, Tues, Wed, 7.5 hours per day, 22.5 hours per week.
National Police Clearance (obtained no less than 3 months from date of employment) (Please note criminal history will not be an automatic barrier to employment)
A valid Working with Children Check.
Must hold Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia.
Must hold a current driver’s license, have a working vehicle and willingness to use it for work related tasks. (All approved work-related vehicle usage will be reimbursed in accordance with the SCHCADS Award Vehicle Allowance.)
Renumeration
This role is a part-time, fixed term contract to June 30th, 2026.
Level 2 Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award
Salary Packaging is available.
Note: Salary is pro rata based on the full-time equivalent of ~$68,300/year (38 hours/week). Superannuation is additional, as per the Superannuation Guarantee (12% as of July 1, 2025). Higher pay points (up to $37,73/hour) may apply with experience.
