Hugh Hamilton is the Black Sheep of Australia's oldest wine family, and we like to do things differently here

We are a family-owned winery, with an awesome Black Sheep Wine Club

We love creating Cellar Door relationships that inspire guests to share their experience with the world

We have an amazing wine portfolio, including exciting emerging varietals and mind-bending blends

We have a stunning Cellar Door, with a breath-taking 270-degree view of the vineyards and surrounding hills

About you

You love to meet people and make them feel at home

You're a big fan of wines, and love learning more every day

You can quickly pick up on how guests are feeling

You love building relationships with guests

You get on well with anyone, and can engage with a wide customer base

You don't stop. There's always something to do, clean, tidy, neaten, restock, refill or check

You're mainly looking for weekend and public holiday work, 2-3 shifts per week with more opportunities over the holiday period

Previous customer service experience (hospitality, retail, or similar customer-facing roles preferred)

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift wine cases up to 15kg

Nice for you to have (but not a deal-breaker)

Wine industry experience

Retail and/or hospitality experience

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

Australian permanent residency

Must have Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working visa)
