Route 9 Distillery is a boutique, small‑batch distillery in the Adelaide Hills. We craft premium hand‑made spirits — gin (Square 1 Gin), whisky (Adelaide Hills Whisky Co), and rum (The Rum Project). The Role
We are seeking an RP Bar Supervisor to help run our Cellar Door Friday - Sunday (approx. 20-25 hours). This is a great role if you want to supplement your income. If you bring experience in social media marketing and/or event management, there is potential for more hours.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all Cellar Door operations during your shift: pouring gin, whisky, and rum flights; making basic cocktails; and food prep.

Manage opening and closing procedures.

Provide informed, confident service: know your spirits, engage with guests, and upsell where appropriate.

Maintain a high attention to detail in presentation, service, cleanliness, and stock.

What We’re Looking For

Valid Responsible Person (RP) Badge — required for the role under SA liquor licensing regulations.

Strong knowledge of spirits (gin, whisky, rum) and ability to talk confidently about them.

Good customer service & verbal communication skills.

Basic cocktail‑making skills.

Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work weekends.

Bonus if you have experience in event planning or social media to help grow the distillery’s profile.
