About the Role

This role leads end-to-end video production, from concept and planning to delivery and distribution. It provides strategic advice, supervises creative teams and contractors, and ensures content meets accessibility, brand, and government communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, production, and delivery of multiple video projects concurrently
• Provide creative and strategic guidance on video content to meet organisational goals
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, contractors, and external suppliers
• Oversee technical and creative production, including motion graphics, accessibility, and quality assurance
• Manage governance processes including briefs, approvals, workflows, and reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• High-level technical knowledge of video production workflows and digital media systems
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2) and government communication requirements
• Experience in leading complex video projects in a government or large organisational setting
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and teamwork skills
• Creative thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
