About the Opportunity

The Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service now has a fantastic opportunity to join their team of dedicated staff in in Kununurra, WA on a full-time basis!

Connected Beginnings Program is intended to provide all children with a great start by improving their wellbeing prior to school, with a specific focus across education, health, and family services. The initiative will particularly address the needs specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families living in the East Kimberley, using a collaborative collective impact approach to determine unique and community-owned goals and strategies to connect families to services and improve the ability of children to achieve early developmental milestones and a positive transition to school.

About the Benefits

OVAHS is an organisation that truly values its team, and is committed to improving employee knowledge, skills and experience. It offers a stable, safe and supportive work environment with a large, multi-disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, an audiologist, dietitian, mental health workers and a social support unit.

Your dedication will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package circa $112,461 per annum pro rata (commensurate with qualifications and experience) including a range of benefits to significantly increase the value of your overall remuneration package including:

Base Wage: $89,868 - $93,652 (dependent on Qualifications and experience) per annum pro rata + Super

5 weeks annual leave per year

Additional paid leave over the end of year closure period

Annual flight allowance $1,800 per annum pro rata

Accommodation allowance

Sociable hours (Mon-Fri office hours)
