Are you passionate about improving standards in the aged care sector? DFP are currently seeking to engage multiple APS6 Senior Assessors to join a national team responsible for assessing new and renewal applications for the registration of aged care facilities, ensuring compliance with updated legislation and sector reforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex information to identify risks, make informed assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant legal frameworks.
- Prepare comprehensive assessments, risk analyses, and documentation using case management systems, ensuring alignment with updated legislation and principles.
- Oversee and prioritise allocated workloads to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment processes and guidance materials, enhancing compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with external and internal stakeholders, other government departments, and the public.
- Collaborate across business areas and contribute to the development of frameworks, strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required to support team goals and organisational needs.
About You
- Experience in compliance, regulation, or risk assessment (preferably in aged care or health sectors).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities.
- Australian Citizenship is required.
