The Opportunity

We are partnering with an ASX-listed energy company to recruit an Energy Analyst with 2-3 years' experience. This is an exciting move for a candidate looking to transition from investment banking, corporate finance, or advisory into industry. The role offers exposure to listed-company reporting, capital markets activity, and strategic transactions, providing a strong platform for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses for corporate and asset-level opportunities.
• Support M&A, due diligence, and capital markets transactions.
• Contribute to the preparation of ASX announcements, investor presentations, and board materials.
• Undertake industry research, competitor benchmarking, and market analysis.
• Work closely with internal teams on strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions.

About You

• 2-3 years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or advisory (Big 4 or boutique).
• Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation, and transaction due diligence.
• Exposure to listed-company transactions, reporting, or equity capital markets will be highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise materials for senior stakeholders.
• Proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
