About the Job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analysts to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis at our Brisbane office.

We’re looking for a proactive, and analytical individual to support our finance team. In this role, you’ll engage with both internal teams and external services to make a lasting impact on the future of the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Business Analysis

Preparing and updating the group profit forecast;

Assisting Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Company Secretary with preparation of Quarterly Board pack; and

Other financial analysis as required.

Management Accounting

Monitoring day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as invoicing, and other transactions;

Ensuring all end of month journals are completed, reconciled and the accounts are accurate;

Assisting team in dealing with outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary;

Supporting the tracking of the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement;

Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual reports in a timely and accurate manner;

Staying up to date with technical accounting issues for financial purposes; and

Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation.

The successful applicant will have:

A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience (preferred),

Strong attention to detail,

Excellent time management and organisational skills,

Demonstrated financial and business skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
