About the Role
We are seeking experienced and resilient Female Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing person-centered support to an adult participant with complex needs. This role involves working in both the home and community, assisting with daily living tasks, implementing behaviour support strategies, and promoting skill development and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide active support in daily living, personal care, and community access

Implement behaviour support plans and use positive behaviour support strategies

Maintain professional boundaries while building trust and rapport

Assist in de-escalating situations and responding appropriately to challenging behaviours

Record and report progress, incidents, and relevant updates promptly

About You

Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs

Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively

Skilled in maintaining professional boundaries and following behaviour support plans

Physically fit and able to assist with active support requirements

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers

Essential Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Community Services, or similar

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)

Current First Aid & CPR

Manual Handling & Medication Administration training

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
