Precast Workers - Rocklea

Minecon Recruitment have partnered with an Australian owned and operated organisation who have developed a range of pre-cast, prefabricated concrete products. This opportunity will see you working in the Rocklea warehouse and will offer ongoing employment with view to permanency for the right employee.

The ideal employee for this highly respected company will have a strong commitment to safe working practices, punctuality and reliability.

Separate areas of work within the warehouse:

1. Welding: MIG Welding of reo cages. Within this role, there are no tickets required however you will require your own welding mask.

2. Casting: Cleaning and preparing moulds, use of tools and other equipment, cleaning of tools and equipment, keeping the workplace clean/ tidy, heavy lifting. There are no tickets required for this role however we do require the ideal candidate to have previous experience in a similar role and the capacity to work as part of a team.

3. Postproduction: Concrete patching, production assembly, ensuring products are to standard and prepared to be transported to site. This work area will also require the use of chemicals as well as hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate:

Open Drivers Licence and own reliable transport

Able to use basic hand and power tools;

Previous precast experience desirable although not essential

Experience using cement-based materials, and or construction repair products

General repair and service experience (desirable)

Strong commitment to safety

Capability to maintain a strong level of reliability and punctuality

Positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a high performing team
