About the role

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and engaging clients in recreational and social activities

Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members

Advocating for clients' needs and promoting their independence and dignity

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

Experience in the aged or disability support sector, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others

A current first aid certificate and/or willingness to obtain one

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation (desirable)

A caring nature, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
