About the Role
This role suits a true salesperson who enjoys building new business while managing existing accounts. You'll be responsible for generating leads, driving sales presentations, and closing deals with customers in education providers, medical institutions, and manufacturing businesses.
Some time will be spent on the road visting clients, while the rest will be office-based managing enquiries, preparing proposals, and following up prospects.
Importantly, the role is local only - no overnight travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts
- Manage the full sales process - prospecting, quoting, presenting, and closing
- Conduct product demonstrations and communicate technical features confidently
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Provide accurate reporting and updates to management
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and aftersales service
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar BDM or technical sales role
- Strong track record in new business development and closing sales
- Comfortable selling higher-value products that require a consultative approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven and proactive with strong commercial acumen
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain product features clearly
