Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Assisting in the maintenance of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by assisting the relevant manager in enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by way of directions from the NSW warehouse manager.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by assisting in the maintaining and monitoring of security procedures and protocols.

Scheduling daily deliveries including communicating with internal and external contacts.

Primary point of contact to answer phones, emails, and other general administration.

Coordinating with Storeperson and Driver on daily dispatch and material receipts.

Assist in material receipt and dispatch; conduct quality checks, ensure accurate quantity is received/packed

Assist in completing sales orders, purchase orders, and any other order related paperwork using Adempiere when requested

Assist in the maintenance of ERP system; creating Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices and Credit Notes using Adempiere.

Assists in the control of inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with stock system

Assist with annual stocktake, regular stock counts, stock adjustments and allocations.

Communicate with other departments, staff groups and customers.

Assist in the warehouse floor on an ad hoc basis.

Forklift Licence will be highly regarded.
