The Private Sector Labour Relations Division is responsible for regulating and promoting employer compliance with state employment laws, shaping and implementing labour relations policy and legislative reform in the state industrial relations system and auditing suppliers to government to ensure compliance with employment obligations.
The Role
Responds to current industrial relations issues and priorities by providing policy advice and information to key stakeholders.
Contributes to Western Australian Government submissions to industrial relations tribunals and consultation processes and responses to International Labour Organization matters.
Develops resources relating to award and legislative provisions and prepares information for clients on state awards and employment laws.
Contributes to private sector award reform matters.
