The Role:

We are growing, and therefore have an exciting opportunity for a Steel Fabricator to join our dedicated and experienced team here in Canning Vale. We require an articulated, organised individual who shows maturity and motivation and is seeking an opportunity to learn, grow and add value to the team.

As a key member of our team, you will:

Assist with the fabrication of bespoke steel structures.

MIG Welding and fabrication of Mild Steel and Aluminium.

Read shop drawings accurately.

Fabricate to detailed drawings.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to take responsibility and initiative for all assigned tasks.

Be able to complete tasks to high quality while working to a deadline.

The role is mainly based in the workshop, however, from time to time, some site work will be required. The following skills will be looked upon favourably:

Dogging ticket

Rigging ticket

About you:

Cert III Engineering Fabrication or equivalent.

A valid Forklift licence.

Hold a current white Construction Card (highly regarded)

Strong communication and time management skills

Be organised and self-motivated.

Ability to follow all company OH&S policies and procedures.

Basic carpentry/timber experience a bonus
