About the business and the role:

Excess Power Equipment (EPE) is a family owned business, which has been in operation for over 35 years. EPE sells, refurbishes and hires medium & high voltage transformers predominately to the mining industry.

We require a Qualified Fabricator to join our team at our workshop in Maddington.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

To carry out work in our steel shop as required which includes but not limited to:

Construction of cable boxes.

Steel bunded skids.

Modifications/repairs to transformer tanks.

Manufacture transformer and switchgear up-stands.

Manufacture steel entry pits.

Skills and experience:

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

EPE requires a qualified fabricator, with experience welding 3mm to 10mm steel.

Coded Welder Certificate (Desirable).

Forklift Ticket (Desirable).

O/H Gantry Crane (Desirable).

Own Tools & Transport (Required).

A minimum of 10 years post trade experience with great workmanship standards (Preferred).
