About the role
This full-time IT Systems & Project Officer role with Ochre Health Group in Canberra, ACT presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the organisation's IT infrastructure and systems. You will play a key part in delivering IT projects and supporting the day-to-day operations of the IT department.
What you'll be doing
Provide first-line IT support and troubleshooting for internal staff, including managing incidents, requests and problems
Assist with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and applications
Contribute to the planning and delivery of IT projects, including identifying requirements, testing new solutions and providing end-user training
Monitor the performance of IT systems and identify areas for improvement
Document IT processes and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is required
Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT support or systems administration role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
Familiarity with a range of IT systems, software and infrastructure, including servers, networks, desktop applications and cloud-based tools
Comprehensive experience across all IT areas including servers, networks, desktop applications and cloud-based platforms is essential
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Proactive and adaptable approach, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
Australian citizenship is required for this position
