About the role

Lusso Stone is seeking a skilled CNC Waterjet Operator to join our dynamic team in our Eagle Farm, Queensland facility. As a full-time CNC Waterjet Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and production processes, operating state-of-the-art waterjet cutting equipment to precisely cut and shape a variety of materials to our client's exact specifications.

What you'll be doing

Operating CNC waterjet cutting machines to cut and shape materials with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate cutting processes

Setting up and programming CNC waterjet machines to execute cutting tasks

Monitoring the cutting process and making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and safety

Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC waterjet equipment

Collaborating with the production team to optimize workflows and meet project deadlines

Maintaining detailed records of production activities and quality control measures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a CNC Waterjet Operator or a similar role in a manufacturing environment

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficiency in operating CNC waterjet cutting equipment and programming cutting processes

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows

Effective communication skills to collaborate with the production team

A valid forklift license would be advantageous
