About the Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Administrator with strong knowledge and expertise relative to the administration, maintenance and configuration of business information systems.
You will be responsible for:
• Providing tier 1 and 2 support services to users of the City’s business systems;
• Acting as a first point of contact for logging, triaging, monitoring, investigating, and escalating system issues;
• Supporting the configuration, maintenance and upgrade of existing systems;
• Supporting the testing and implementation of new systems, and system upgrades;
• Generating reports and metrics;
• Developing support documentation to assist with the sharing of information and consistency of service.
About You
As a collaborative member of the Business Systems team, you will support the maintenance and implementation of systems that supports the achievement of the City’s objectives and improved business efficiencies through integrated systems.
As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
• Qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Systems, Information Technology or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in a similar role within a large organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in administering enterprise business information systems.
• Experience in efficient utilisation of information systems and technology.
• Intermediate computing, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Intermediate organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Intermediate negotiation and influencing skills.
