We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join our growing team. As one of Australia’s largest privately owned civil and remediation contractors, we’ve been delivering quality projects across Australia for over 15 years with an exciting pipeline of work.

With several new projects underway, we’re looking for a motivated and capable professional to help us deliver outstanding results.

About the Role

Reporting to the NSW Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading our teams on site. Your focus will be on achieving strong project outcomes through the effective management of our people, subcontractors, and resources.

The role is a DIDO roll with travel outside of the Sydney area, working away from home, as project locations will vary.

We are currently looking for a team player who is a positive, driven experienced Plant Operator. Must have experience in reading and interpreting designs, GPS machine guidance and final trim operations.

Job Requirements

Ability to develop strong working relationship with groups of diverse employees and subcontractors

Must be available to work away from home in regional areas - travel allowance paid

A commitment to developing and maintaining a culture of health and safety

Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Ability to assist in manual labour if needed

Good verbal communication skills

Skills Required

Ability to operate excavator essential

Ability to operate skidsteer, dump truck, dozer and roller preferred

Read and interpret design

Experience in final trim operations

Experience in GPS machine guidance

General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Civil Construction / Remediation Experience

Driver’s license required
