National Crime Check is seeking detail- driven, organised people to join our team. As Compliance & Verification Officer, you will be reviewing applications, checking documentation, and ensuring compliance. The role will begin in our office based in Kent Town to support onboarding and training. Once your fully trained and confident in the role, you'll transition to working from home.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing and processing applications for Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is provided and compliant

Cross-check documentation against required identity categories and assess validity, consistency, and authenticity

Identify and escalate suspicious or non-compliant submission

Maintain accurate records of all verification activities

Stay updated on changes to compliance and identity verification requirements

Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve verification issues

Provide online, email, and phone support

What we're looking for

Experience in a compliance or verification role, ideally within the administrative or office support industry

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, and Mac systems

Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve issues
