Due to developing contracts, we have an exciting opportunity available for an established Mechanical Fitter to join their team. Initially starting on a contract within the workshop based in Redhead.

This role start will be starting immediately and will require the successful candidate to be responsible for new builds & repair work of underground equipment .

Essential requirements;

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (must be able to show qual' papers)
• Extensive experience in maintenance of underground mining equipment
• Prior field servicing experience within mining
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Advanced ability to fault find and troubleshoot
• Strong agility and able to hit the ground running
• Excellent computer skills, particularly word and excel
• A strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and/or part of team
