About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Kiosk Floreat Beach, a vibrant beachside eatery located in the heart of City Beach, WA 6015. In this casual role, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes that delight our customers.

Candidates must be available to work days and evenings as required for this casual position.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, including portioning, cooking, plating and garnishing dishes

Ensure consistent food quality and presentation in line with the restaurant's standards

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

Provide input and suggestions to improve kitchen operations and menu items

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Hospitality or Culinary Arts

Minimum Certificate III qualification in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is required.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a similar fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a busy kitchen

Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients

Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Valid work visa is required for this position.
