About the role

As a Chef de Partie at The Cruising Yacht Club in Rockingham Beach, WA, you will play a key role in the kitchen, taking responsibility for a specific section and ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service. This casual-part-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to showcase their skills in a vibrant hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a range of menu items to the highest standards

Ensuring efficient and effective operation of your assigned kitchen section

Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff as required

Maintaining strict health, safety and hygiene practices

Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes

Participating in inventory management and ordering processes

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a similar hospitality setting

Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality, innovative dishes

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications
