This role will lead a team of permanent and casual staff to strengthen our operations, and build great relationships between the staff, patrons, suppliers, and our community, under the direction of the hotel owners.The successful candidate will undertake the following tasks:

• directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities

• planning and organising special functions, conferences, events and entertainment

• monitoring quality at all stages of preparation and presentation of guest services

• provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation

• controlling the selection, training and supervision of staff

• assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction

• supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance

• observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations

• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

• work a range of shifts as required, training other staff in best practices

• manage budgets, rostering and timesheet approvals

• foster cooperation within the team and across the hotel.
