About the role
Experience Broken Hill currently has a vacancy for an experienced full-time Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations our across our caravan parks and motel facilities.
Responsibilities include supporting housekeeping during peak times, managing online booking platforms, and performing after-hours On Call Duties to maintain guest satisfaction.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Manage reservations for multiple locations and welcome guests
Support rostering, banking, and after-hours duties
Assist with online travel agents and distribution channel management
Liaise between teams and assist with housekeeping and laundry during peak times
Record guest feedback and resolve issues
Contribute to training and mentoring junior team members
About You
We encourage a collaborative and inclusive culture, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is nurtured. Along with a strong work ethic and ideally a minimum of 2 years hospitality or tourism experience in a customer service environment, you'll have/be:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
Full Australian working rights or permanent residency
Current First Aid Certificate , valid drivers licence , Working with Children and Police Check are essential
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle guest queries calmly and effectively
Demonstrated confidence with cash handling, booking systems, and other front office operations
Familiarity with online distribution platforms - Booking.com Expedia, etc would be an advantage
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, public holidays and rostered after hours duties
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences
