sēlah Valley Estate is a premium accommodation and events destination set in the stunning Northern Rivers. Including a Homestead, Suites, Cabins, Camping, Weddings, Retreats, and Corporate events, we are a fast-growing estate seeking a passionate and proactive Guest Services Manager to join our team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, with plenty of variety. You will work alongside our farm manager and take care of the day to day runnings of the Estate, ensuring our guests have a seamless and memorable stay. This is a versatile, practical, hands-on management role. While you’ll be responsible for scheduling and coordinating guest services, you’ll also actively take part in day-to-day tasks such as laundry services, managing a team of cleaners and when required, complete room cleans. Host the initial site tours and be the point of contact for couples, corporate, and retreat clients during their events. (dry-hire estate management only). Most of our accommodation guests enjoy a no contact check in process so you will be responsible to manage behind the scenes to ensure their stay is seamless and gives them the opportunity to stop. pause. listen. Of Course when guests want to engage we need someone who is energetic, friendly and who possesses strong and adaptable communication skills. Flexibility required for weekend working hours. We are looking for someone who leads by example and takes pride in ensuring every detail is handled to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the Cabins, Suites and Homestead are presented to a premium standard which our guests have become accustomed to. Oversee housekeeping operations & schedules, complete laundry & room turnover with the assistance of a housekeeping team.
Liaise with our administration/booking team (Newbook & Hipcamp) and actively manage communication with our guest.
At times meet and greet guests at check in, take payments for in room or camping extras
Assist with site tours and event set-up
Act as onsite contact for weddings, retreats, and corporate clients (dry-hire estate management only).
Work collaboratively with our Farm Manager and wider team.
Be open to changes as the role expands
First Aid certificate - beneficial
