We offer Long Day Care, Preschool programs and Outside School Hours Care including, Before School, After School and Vacation Care. We understand every family has different needs and, with this in mind, we offer care on a full-time or part-time basis. Occasional care and casual care are available where a vacancy exists.
Our Services:
We provide services in New Town, Glenorchy, Bridgewater, Lauderdale, and Sorell.
The Role:
We are seeking Trainee Certificate III Educators to join our professional team on a permanent contract of 24 hours per week. You will undertake a fully funded traineeship whilst completing a nationally accredited Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, whilst gaining paid industry on the job experience in a professional environment. You will work in a highly supportive environment with training, mentoring and guidance provided as part of a larger trainee cohort. These traineeships have the ability to lead to career progression and further training opportunities within Discovery Early Learning Centres, such as progressing towards a diploma and building a career pathway to senior leadership roles.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration or the ability to obtain.
Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours.
