Join a large engineering services and faculties maintenance group, currently leading the way across the sector. With a fast-paced analytical role, you play a critical role in the group FP&A team of an industry leader, whilst gaining new skills from great mentors. This is a 6-month contract with a great opportunity to get your foot in the door!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support the Senior FP&A Manager with responsibility for the efficient production and distribution of all financial & performance results and operational analysis for the various divisions. It is also responsible for business case and commercial analysis to add insight and value into business unit growth and success.

DUTIES

• Partner with the business and provide financial direction to various stakeholders;
• Review and interrogate financial information and systems with a view to validate, challenge and improve;
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the group, consolidating various divisions' results;
• Contribute to the Finance Strategy of the business;
• Incorporate analytical methods and models to identify improvement opportunities and drive strategy across the group;
• True business partnering opportunities;
• Opportunity to help with due diligence requests for M&A opportunities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong communication skills required
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role post ideally Big 4 experience
• Ideally experience in engineering services, facilities maintenance or other service/project-based businesses
• Qualified CA or CPA
• Expert Excel skills
