About the role

Jacaranda Preschool is a community-based, not-for-profit early learning centre located in Caringbah. We are currently seeking a full-time Certificate III qualified educator who is passionate about early childhood education. This position also offers the opportunity to undertake a Diploma Traineeship, making it a fantastic pathway to grow your career in a supportive and nurturing environment.

You'll be working alongside a team of experienced and dedicated educators who are committed to providing high-quality care and learning for children. Jacaranda Preschool is a Child Safe Organisation and operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm during school terms.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate educational programs for children aged 3-5 years

Providing a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment that promotes the wellbeing and development of each child

Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Participating in staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities

Adhering to all service policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

A strong passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development

Certificate III qualification or interest in undertaking a traineeship to complete a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Australian work authorisation is required for this position

Minimum of 2 years experience in an Early Childhood Setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships

A genuine interest in staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
