As a successful candidate in this role, you will have a sound understanding of linkages between planning, risk and compliance. You'll have a strong governance background, and your management style and influence will champion a positive risk management culture across the department. Your previous experience with high level engagement activities will see you build relationships quickly with executive teams, program managers and project managers across multiple divisions.
Your highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills will see you develop and implement risk management training services, including the provision of facilitated workshops and targeted training for senior executives across the department. You'll be familiar with high level reporting, presentations, oversight of risk registers and structured reports for diverse stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Divisional Leadership Teams.
Your practical on-the-ground experience will see you materialise strategic planning into operational risk management, and you'll understand the flexible approach required to engage successfully across the business to adapt to differing levels of risk maturity within the business.
