About the role

Join KCJ CIVIL PTY LTD' as a full-time Civil Engineer based in Sydney, NSW. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring efficient delivery and seamless execution.

What you'll be doing

Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating the activities of multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines and budgets

Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing contingency plans to ensure projects stay on track

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to optimise workflows and resources

Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry regulations, and safety standards

Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience in a civil engineering planning and scheduling role, ideally within the construction industry

Proficient in project management software and tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex civil engineering projects on time and within budget
